National Wales for Wales reserves the right to set income tax rates for Welsh taxpayers. The Welsh income tax rate was set at 10% and added to the UK rates, each reduced by 10%. In 2020/21, the tax paid by Welsh taxpayers is similar to that paid by taxpayers in England.
